This is a license notice, not legal advice. Short words are not copyrightable by themselves. This page says which license applies to which object, including WordPress, which we use and do not own.
1. HiveNosis Language License 1.0
The grant for the coined terms — hivenosis, unlatched channel, latched transcript, quorum latch, latch / latched / unlatched in that sense, hivenosis score, hivenosis review, and census in that sense — lives at hivenosis.com/license. That document is the only license we give for those terms.
Capitalization does not change the grant. “Quorum latch” as the name of the control primitive is a Licensed Term under that license. “QuorumLatch” as the name of this site and this practice is a Reserved Name, below.
Attribution, when you use a Licensed Term in a published work, is the form in the HiveNosis Language License. Short form: hivenosis, as named by HiveNosis (https://hivenosis.com).
2. Reserved Names and works
The HiveNosis Language License does not cover, and this page does not grant:
- QuorumLatch — as a company, site, product, or practice name
- HiveNosis — as a company, site, product, or practice name
- SwarmLatch — as a product, company, or control-plane name
- AshI
- the circular latch device, the crowned honeycomb, lockups, and related original artwork
- the text, layout, and compilation of quorumlatch.com, hivenosis.com, and swarmlatch.com, except short quotations under fair use or the Language License’s attribution clause
Those remain the names and original works of Dreamway Express LLC. They are not registered trademarks. This page is not a trademark filing and not a transfer of any rights in them.
You may name QuorumLatch, HiveNosis, SwarmLatch, and AshI when you are referring to us — the way you name any other source. That is mention, not a grant to brand with those names.
3. This website
Original copy, CSS, JavaScript, photographs, and artwork on quorumlatch.com are copyright 2026 Dreamway Express LLC. All rights reserved, except fair use and the Language License for Licensed Terms appearing in that copy.
Fair use quotation of short excerpts is permitted with attribution to QuorumLatch / Dreamway Express LLC and a link to the source URL.
4. WordPress
This site is published with WordPress. WordPress is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. The license text is published by the WordPress project at wordpress.org/about/license. WordPress is a trademark of the WordPress Foundation.
Dreamway Express LLC does not claim to have written WordPress, to own the WordPress trademark, or to re-license WordPress to you. Running this site on WordPress does not put our original content under the GPL.
The PHP templates of the QuorumLatch theme, to the extent they derive from WordPress, are licensed under GPLv2 or later. Original CSS, JavaScript, images, and written content in that theme remain copyright Dreamway Express LLC and are not a GPL grant. We are not offering the theme as a public download. If you need the PHP templates under GPLv2, write to quorum@quorumlatch.com.
No additional visitor-facing license is required by WordPress beyond the software’s own GPL and the WordPress trademark policy. We do not need you to accept a click-wrap to read this site.
5. No other grant
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Dreamway Express LLC. Use of the Licensed Terms under the HiveNosis Language License does not make you a partner, a licensee of the Reserved Names, or an owner of any interest in them.
